New Look names Alistair McGeorge as new president

New Look has officially confirmed the appointment of Alistair McGeorge as executive chairman. Tom Singh, the retailer’s founder, took on the role temporarily for the last few weeks since the departure of former CEO Carl McPhail.

New Look store in Belgium

The group, which also owns French chain Mim, is now passing the business into the hands of a specialist in value retail. In fact, Alistair McGeorge served as chief executive at budget fashion chain Matalan until the end of 2010.

Singh will continue to work in an operational capacity alongside Alistair McGeorge, with his focus on product.
